Thomas Horn won on "Jeopardy!" throughout Kids Week with an earning of 31,000 after playing 12,000 throughout Final Jeopardy. His acting profession kicked off when he was cast in the function film Highly Loud and Amazingly Close, which is based on the 2005 novel by Jonathan S. Foer. This drama is set to hit limited cinemas on Christmas time Day, 2011 and will be further released on January 20, 2012.
Thomas was born in 1997,the elder of two boys, to doctor parents. Raised in San Francisco, when he was in the 6th grade he joined the National Geographic Geography Bee, coming third and was also placed in the top four on two even more occasions. Before to his film debut his only acting encounter had been as the old Grasshopper in a school production of 'James and the Giant Peach'. Selected from over three thousands of boys for the role of Oskar in 'Extremely Loud and Amazingly Close' he was awarded Best Young Actor at the 17th annual Experts Choice awards.
